Extraordinarily good. In every way a new world wine; it is bombastic and loud, but so balanced and poised. As it opens it grows more and more; it is like a continuous aria, but the palate never tires. All the usual characters are here, all standing at attention. The nose is shy, and I imagine this has some improvement in the bottle to come, but this is as good a new world Chenin as I can remember.
A Pilsner described as dry hopped, and damned if it isn’t. Well balanced hops and malt. Not profound, but delicious and really complete. Another NH submission. 4/23/21
